Upgrade to Movie Projector will Bring Improved Picture and Sound The theater will close for three days beginning February 11 through February 12, 2020 to upgrade its digital movie projector. All theater activities, including movies, will cease as installers upgrade to a larger projector that will improve image resolution, brightness and sound for all movies and will make it possible to project films with 4k resolution which provides much more image detail. Music Series Kicks Off Sep 21 with First of Four Concerts

A music series consisting of four concerts featuring sounds and performers of yesteryear will begin in September at Edmond Town Hall Theatre. The series, sponsored by Newtown Savings Bank, is the first in an effort to consistently bring live shows to the beloved historic theater. Come Celebrate Mary Hawley’s Birthday Thursday, Aug 22

The public is invited to stop by the Mary Hawley Memorial Room where copies of Miss Hawley’s will  and trust documents will be available for perusal. Also on display will be a “Star of Gifts” painted by   Michelle Rosenthal and donated by Mr. and Mrs. Lynn and Ron Buttner of Newtown.
